The barber shop is the example of an early barber shop in Lebanon. The barber chair a
nd other items were used in the early 1900’s. The early barber offered other services in addition to haircuts. They often groomed the patrons with a shave, haircut and sometimes a shoe shine.
The building was the original office of car dealer Jim Horn Hankins, located on West Main Street.
The building was relocated and restored in 1998. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Callis donated the building in memory of her father, Mr. Jim Horn Hankins.
